The Not RIP project is an experimental project that aims to encourage people to express their emotions and promotes forgiveness. The project consists of 13 distinct charms that symbolize various emotions, including anger, sadness, and depression.
Cursing someone with unique charm as a means of expressing emotions can provide a profound emotional release while also embarking on a creative and constructive journey of self-discovery. Our goal is to assist individuals in releasing their inner tension and promote forgiveness towards themselves and others who may have caused them pain or suffering. By forgiving, people can confront negative emotions and move forward with renewed peace and understanding.
To bring our vision to life, we utilized lucky charms with completely opposing methodologies to create the design. Employing the technique of pixel art, we pieced together fragments of emotional memory, pixel by pixel, to demonstrate our interpretation. Our beliefs and cultural background were reflected in the way we depicted each charm. We combined three different languages and typography characteristics to convey our message in a unique and culturally significant way.
Whether you are seeking to overcome past hurts or simply looking to improve your emotional well-being, The Not RIP project provides an empowering opportunity to facilitate healing and personal growth.
